Ms. Julie Weems has been a valued member of Fairmont's counseling team for over sixteen years. As our co- lead counselor, she ensures every Fairmont student has a uniquely tailored four-year plan — one that will support their post-high school goals. Ms. Weems holds a Masters of Science in Educational Counseling. Ms. Ming Liao is a graduate of Cal Poly University Pomona. She began her career in education as a coordinator for our international HomeStay program. As a counselor in our international education program, Ms. Liao relishes the opportunity to use her Mandarin language skills and to guide families and students as they start their educational journey in the U.S. Mr. Kevin East graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language Studies. He has lived in both China and the U.S. As Fairmont's International Student Manager, Kevin loves bringing his multi-cultural experience to support international families as they navigate the U.S. educational system. Ms. Anne Johnson attended Swarthmore College and the University of La Verne. She worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove and also served as Head Counselor of HS2 Academy to provide comprehensive academic, career, and college admissions counseling to students. Ms. Nancy Nguyen is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton and has been one of Fairmont Preparatory Academy's most passionate English teachers for the past eight years. Ms. Nguyen speaks fluent Vietnamese and provides language support to our international families from Vietnam. She enjoys supporting and guiding students of all ages and loves the diversity of cultures and backgrounds in Fairmont's student body. Mr. Darryl Foy is a graduate of Whittier College, and and a recent graduate of The George Washington University's Masters Program. His two boys attend the Fairmont Historic Anaheim campus, and he coaches soccer at the Fairmont Preparatory Academy. His passion for academic success led him to Fairmont Private Schools, where he has been helping students pave their path to the best fit colleges. Mr. Justin Voss is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College. He joined Fairmont Private schools after extensive college admissions experience at Whittier College and Pitzer College. He has a proven track record of helping students reach their academic goals. His passion is to encourage students to dig deep and think critically while searching for colleges. Students in the Advanced Science & Engineering Program, International Business Program, and International Baccalaureate Diploma program benefit from his diverse background. Mr. Raymond Prado holds a masters degree from UCLA. He joined Fairmont Preparatory's counseling team after significant counseling experience at the collegiate level. He served as the Director of Outreach Programs at UCLA School of Medicine and as an admissions officer at CalTech. He is particularly passionate about working with students in the International Business Program, the Advanced Science and Engineering Program, and the International Baccalaureate Program.
