6935 Digital Photography

VISUAL ARTS
In this class students will learn the basics of
photography using their own digital camera and
digital photo editing using Adobe Photoshop.
Students will cover the artistic and technical aspects of
photography and photo editing.
ELECTIVE COURSE
8111: Yearbook
5 credits per semester (pass/fail elective)
Prerequisite: Instructor���s permission
Students will put together the entire yearbook-starting
with theme development. Each student will learn
photography, page layout design and journalism and
apply these skills using computer software: Adobe In
Design, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word. It is a great
way to be involved in the school because the yearbook
staff photographs and writes about all major school
events.
