Advanced Placement Fairmont Preparatory Academy���s Advanced Placement (AP) program has been recognized by the College Board as having one of the highest student success rates in the state of California in math, science, and technology. Fairmont does not limit the number of AP courses that a student can take. Many students begin taking AP courses as early as the 9th grade. 2012 AP Exam Scores (AP tests are scored on a 5 point, numeric scale. 5 is the highest, 1 is the lowest, and 3 is passing).
