DECATHALON
Fairmont Preparatory Academy students competed
in the Orange County Academic Decathlon, a rigorous
event hosted by the Orange County Department of
Education (OCDE) in conjunction with the United
States Academic Decathlon (USAD).
Seven Fairmont Prep students captured
a total of 13 medals in the 2017 spring
decathalon competition.

the Orange County Academic
Pentathlon is a one-day,
five-subject, academic
competition for 6th, 7th,
and 8th grade students.
Each team comprises honors,
scholastic, and varsity students
and competes in language and
literature, fine arts, science,
mathematics, and social science.
