Only twenty minutes from the Pacific Coast and an
hour from the Los Angeles City Center, life in Southern
California is sunny, healthy, warm and exciting. Our
large network of American families offer a welcoming
environment in which students have the comfort and space
to study hard and enjoy all that California has to offer.
Our host families are carefully selected for each student
from our large network. Living with a family not only
allows students to practice English even more, but it
also gives them the opportunity to gain a unique insight
into the American way of life. We respect the culture
of every student who joins us and our host families
do the same. We also expect students to respect the
family environment they are in, joining the family at
meal times and keeping to the rules of the house. Our
host families are here to take care of our students!
Transportation to school is provided either by
Fairmont's school bus or by the host family.

My host family was great! They always made
sure to include me in their family plans, and
we even went to visit colleges together like
Yale University. I miss them so
much already.
