INSURANCE PLAN
Our international students maintain
adequate health insurance coverage
through IMG Global. Students have
100% coverage in-network and
access to many options for U.S.
healthcare providers. IFC assists both
host families and students in finding
the proper provider in any given
circumstance, as well as assistance
with all necessary claims after a
visit to a medical professional.
TUTOR MATCHING
In addition to regular support from
Fairmont's teachers, students who
are having difficulty with a particular
subject can be matched with a peer
tutor. Peer tutors are current Fairmont
students who make themselves
available to their fellow students to
mentor and instruct other students
in subjects they are excelling in.
Students can utilize this resource
during lunch time or after school. If a
student requires additional academic
support, counselors are happy to
help students develop a plan for
improving academic performance.
HOMESTAY SERVICES
We have a large network of local
host families who take pride in
welcoming international students into
their homes.The Homestay Program
is an exceptional opportunity for
international students to sharpen their
English language ability by immersing
themselves in daily conversations
with typical American families. Our
Homestay Department works diligently
to review each student application
and determine which of our host
families will help them assimilate most
comfortably into American culture.
