D I R E C T E N T R Y The Direct Entry option is for international students with an advanced level of language proficiency who require minimal language support and wish to earn a Fairmont [Preparatory Academy] diploma. Earning a Fairmont diploma enables students to be a part of the rich academic tradition evident by 81% of our students attending top 100 colleges and universities 1 . Students may begin this course of study at either the junior high or at the high school level. Dependent on the student's writing ability, admission to Direct Entry may be with or without the Writing Seminar (DE-W). Students in the Direct Entry program are fully immersed with non-international students, providing them a traditional Fairmont Private Schools experience. Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Honors and university-level courses are offered through California State University, Fullerton and the University of Arizona. These courses give students the chance to prove their strong subject knowledge and increase their chances of getting into a top college or university.
