The restructuring of the South County campus marked
a significant chapter for the Warriors. Most high school
students made plans to transfer to Fairmont Preparatory
Academy, where a rich community of academics, athletics,
and opportunities awaited them.
For middle and lower school students, the strategic decision
to move to a P-8 campus reflected a deep and ongoing
commitment to providing children with the very best
education possible. It reflected a dedication to fostering
an academically robust environment that seamlessly
blends Fairmont's longstanding traditions with innovative,
forward-thinking approaches. By concentrating resources
and efforts exclusively on the P-8 model, SJC became even
better positioned to deliver a well-rounded education that
not only meets but exceeds the expectations for preschool,
elementary, and middle school students.
As campus leadership looked toward the future and
reallocating resources, they invited families to a series of
discussion and planning sessions to help cast the vision
for the new P-8 school. It began an ongoing conversation
about how to best serve the Warrior community and
elevate academic and other programming to solidify the
position of being an elite school of choice in South County.
The future of Fairmont SJC has never been brighter or more
full of promise!
