There were many examples of this last year, including when one Husky — a brain aneurysm survivor — traveled to Washington, D.C. to generate support among lawmakers for a bill that would provide funding for brain aneurysm research, treatment, and prevention. A heightened sense of campus community was one of the defining features of last year. Following the pandemic, students were more eager than ever to engage and connect. This, in turn, led to a whole host of student-driven initiatives, such as daily activities at lunchtime.
