The City of San Juan Capistrano welcomed
Fairmont with open arms, celebrating the
addition of our new P-12 campus to the
community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony which was attended
by dignitaries from across the county. Top Fairmont leadership began
establishing relationships with neighboring businesses. But more
importantly, new relationships were forged within the community of SJC
students, parents, and staff.
When cleared to fully reopen in September, SJC did so with almost 100%
on-campus, in-person instruction. The campus shined in its implementation
of the health and safety protocols which were put in place.
Fairmont Athletic Academy (FAA) was launched, providing elite middle
school athletes with an innovative educational experience that integrates
athletic training into the school day. FAA's partnership with The Treigning
Lab (a world-class training facility), Reign Wrestling (created and led by
former UFC fighter Mark Munoz), Tstreet Volleyball (#1 ranked volleyball
club in California), and Strikers Soccer (Orange County's #1 youth soccer
club) allows for a one-of-a kind opportunity for student-athletes.
