Graduation 2020 was anything but normal. COVID deprived our students of
many of the events and memories which typically come with the culmination of
their high school years. But our graduates approached this time with admirable
resiliency. While their celebrations may not have been typical, they were
nonetheless special. From the senior drive-through to the virtual commencement
ceremony, it was a privilege to honor the Class of 2020
who, in spite of the many obstacles they faced, were
still accepted to the Top 100 colleges in the country
at an exceptionally high rate (93% of graduates).
Commencement ceremonies were also reimagined for our 8th grade and Pre-K
students. Masks may have covered the smiling faces of our younger graduates,
but nothing could conceal the joy they exuded when they received their diplomas.
