AP SCHOLARS WITH HONORS 3.25 on all AP Exams, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams 25 AP SCHOLARS 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams 31 TOTAL AP SCHOLARS 105 100% From designing a 3D face shield template to publishing research articles and books; from taking top honors in a cello concert to starting their own businesses — Prep students continued to showcase their intellect and talents in 2020. While COVID put a damper on certain parts of student life (particularly athletics and the arts), our Huskies maximized as many opportunities as they could in the pandemic environment. ASB went above and beyond to make sure that the student body remained connected. They used Instagram as a "virtual lifeline" to keep students connected and they created "Lunch Bunch" — a weekly Zoom session where students ate together, visited, and played virtual games. "Husky Vision," a monthly production of the Prep's video class, kept students up to date and entertained. The Speech and Debate program once again earned national recognition — qualifying a record 5 debate teams to the prestigious Tournament of Champions, the most of any high school in the nation. We continued to see Prep graduates accepted to the Top 100 universities at an exceptionally high 93% rate. What's more, nearly every 2020 grad who had attended Fairmont since middle school or earlier received an offer from top tier schools (98%). The Fairmont Prep Class of 2020 was accepted to Stanford University, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, California Institute of Technology, and Johns Hopkins University, to name a few. See the full list of acceptances here. PREPARATORY ACADEMY
