LEARNING
Fairmont has always placed a high value on students' social-emotional needs. But if
there was ever a time to focus on children's overall wellness, it was in 2020. We met
this moment in time by providing extensive training for our teachers in social-emotional
learning — enabling them to better address the unique challenges students were facing.
We also provided support to our families through interactive information sessions with
Jill Thomas, Fairmont's on-staff Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist, named one of Orange County's Top 25
Education Employees in 2020 by Parenting OC magazine.
