ATHLETICS
Daily physical education (PE) programs start as early as junior
kindergarten, and all of our students are encouraged to participate
in our sports teams. Students learn teamwork, collaboration,
leadership, and time management on the field. After-school
sports provide an enjoyable activity for younger students, while
high school-level athletes compete more extensively according to
their ability, with the most advanced players participating in the
California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Every athletics program
helps our students maintain physical health, mental agility, and
lasting friendships.
ROBOTICS
Students may gain hands-on experience in Fairmont's robotics
program as early as the 4th grade. Younger students begin with an
extracurricular course that teaches basic robotics programming.
Middle school students compete in the FIRSTĀ® LEGO League, and
interested students can advance to high school-level robotics,
which includes programming and competing in the FIRSTĀ®
Robotics Competition.
