AP Chinese and Culture
Fairmont Prep students performed exceptionally well on the AP Chinese Language
and Culture exam this past spring, earning an average score of 4.95 out of 5. The
robust AP Chinese course is not just limited to native Chinese speakers — this year's
course includes a mix of native Mandarin Chinese speakers, as well as non-native
speakers from Vietnam, Korea, India, and the U.S. In addition, many international and
domestic students are pursuing Mandarin I-III and Mandarin IB.
Thanks to the guidance of teacher Ms. Lee, and close connections with students who
are native Chinese speakers, Fairmont Prep students from numerous backgrounds
continue to excel and open up further opportunities for their futures.
