I . ) Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a new, exciting field of computer science dedicated to realizing human behaviors on a computer. In this program, Fairmont students are introduced to basic search algorithms for problem-solving, knowledge representation and reasoning, pattern recognition, fuzzy logic, and neural networks. Students actively engage in course content, participate in online activities, and complete hands- on assignments to showcase their learning. Most importantly, students identify problems in today's world and how artificial intelligence might be used to solve them. IT has transformed nearly everything (communication, government, healthcare, business, to name just a few!) in our day-to-day lives. But what do we want to technology to do, and what do we not want it to do? Diving into the world of cybersecurity means thinking well beyond security passwords and grappling with some of our toughest, most urgent questions.
