Physical Education: Standard P.E. classes with an emphasis on sports skills, health, fitness, and sportsmanship. Health: Students meet during their P. E. classes to learn methods of staying socially, mentally, and physically healthy. Math: Advanced Math options available, please see below. Honors Courses Honors courses are similar to regular courses, however students work at a faster pace, are introduced to additional texts, and are expected to write with a higher level of proficiency. Students are chosen for honors courses through teacher recommendations and standardized test scores. Advanced Math Beginning in junior high and continuing through Fairmont Prep, the Advanced Math track provides a highly individualized approach to math education. 9
